We cut no corners in the production of MR boards. We work on the principle of low output / high quality and we use only the finest materials available. Australian Burford blanks, and imported American resin and fibreglass. 

Fashions come and go in surfboard design, and models are always being tweaked or revamped, but every now and then that rare thing comes along – a surfboard that’s perfect as it is, and stands the test of time without the need for changes or modern refinements. Mark Richards’ world-beating twin fins fall squarely into that category. In the late ’70s, with his rivals still riding single-fin surfboards, MR upgraded from one fin to two, and for the next few years he was untouchable, winning four consecutive world titles on his self-shaped designs. But these surfboards aren’t just historically significant or beautifully made or visually stunning – although they’re definitely all of those things. They’re also brilliant surfboards in their own right: fast, drivey, functional, and heaps of fun to ride in all conditions.
